Founded in 1986 by Spyros and still run by our family, we’re not about polished luxury – we’re about real, heartfelt hospitality. We’ve grown up here, and our love for this island runs deep.

Corfu is celebrated for its lush greenery and stunning landscapes. According to myth, the island was blessed by Poseidon – making it one of Greece’s most beautiful islands, waiting to be explored.

  • Explore the beautiful parts of our island by renting a scooter, bike, quad bike or car. We work with trusted local companies that deliver and collect your vehicle right at the Sunrock door with no additional fees. Alternatively, we’re happy for you to arrange your own transport.
  • Corfu Town – Spend a day exploring historic Corfu Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its charming streets and stunning Venetian architecture. We offer a convenient shuttle service to and from town upon request.
  • Island hopping – Embark on a day tour to the neighbouring islands of Paxos and Antipaxos. Legend says that Paxos was created by Poseidon, who longed to craft a secret love nest for his beloved Amphitrite.

Sunrock Resort is located on the west side, overlooking Pelekas Beach, with plenty of activities for our guests to enjoy:

  • Kaiser’s Throne – On the highest spot of Pelekas Village, there is a monument with a beautiful view not to be missed.
  • Cliff Jumping – The rock at the north end of Pelekas Beach is a popular spot for locals with cliff jumping and people-watching.
  • Snorkelling – Pelekas offers excellent snorkelling. Explore the underwater world and watch for sea turtles and a variety of colourful fish.
  • The Mud Beach – Just four minutes from Sunrock, you’ll find a natural mud beach believed to have therapeutic benefits.
  • Aqualand Corfu Water Park – one of the best in Europe, and features 51 slides and pools, making it a fun day out for all ages.
